Professional Experience (1976 - present)

Field experience as survey crew chief responsible for land section breakdown; establish control for monument setting, topographical surveys, cadastral, property boundary, and photogrammetric surveys; highway, residential, and commercial and industrial site construction, right-of-way, utility, sanitary sewer, drainage, and waterline stakeout; survey, monument, and post boundary lines for U.S. Forest Service.

Office experience including responsibility for over 375 architectural, surveying, land development, municipal, transportation, and civil engineering projects using AutoCAD, Softdesk and SurvCADD engineering software; produced precise drawings from aerial/photogrammetric data, coordinated data input provided by aerial firms with client and design engineer requirements, provided data management, storage, retrieval, and quality assurance, performed survey and engineering computations and design/drafting, manual drafting of field survey data, civil, environmental, and architectural projects, color presentation drawings, and deed research and preparation; manage CAD and surveying departments, cost estimating and proposal preparation, responsible for all functions of daily operations.

  • Prepared CAD plans of numerous state route right-of-way for PennDOT approval on commercial site development projects.
  • Managed survey and plan development of 7,600 lineal feet of topographical survey of proposed waterline for power generation facility integrated with GPS control.
  • Performed boundary and topographical surveys for base plan preparation of numerous commercial and residential sites within the Lehigh Valley, PA.
  • Planned, supervised, and performed ground survey of boundary, right-of-way, and topographical features along one (1) mile of state highway fronting a large shopping mall. Design of highway improvements along this corridor.
  • Planned, organized and implemented data collection associated with aerial generated base mapping for numerous projects including 575 acre and 140 acre sanitary sewer project in Berks Co., PA.
  • Established the location and elevation for the placement of structural steel and foundations for numerous large commercial and industrial facilities in the Lehigh Valley.
  • Oversaw and coordinated production of CAD-generated architectural drawings for the following projects: JCPenney/Laurel Mall expansion, 75,000 S.F. Chemical fixation facility, Moorestown, NJ Wastewater Treatment Plan Upgrade, and the Union Camp Multiwall Bag Manufacturing Facility.
  • Performed field survey, drawing file, title report and deed review for preparing ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey Plans of the following:
    • Shoppes at Stroud Shopping Center, Monroe County, PA
    • Crossroads at the Poconos, Monroe County, PA
    • Whitemarsh Shopping Center, Montgomery County, PA
    • King of Prussia Mall, Montgomery County, Phila., PA
  • Conducted site feasibility studies that involved aerial control in conjunction with ground run survey data input on CAD to provide site information of 122, 45, and 52-acre parcels in eastern PA for Clorox Company.
  • Prepared CAD-generated drawings for parking reconfiguration of 52-acre Grand View Hospital site, 143-acre Hanover Business Park commercial land development project (LSI Logic, Inc., site), 121-acre General Electric site in King of Prussia (PA) for Kravco, Inc., City of Easton (PA) sludge dewatering plant upgrade and addition, Stefko Boulevard drainage improvements for City of Bethlehem (PA), 46-acre proposed cogeneration and manufacturing site in Northampton County (PA) for Wheelabrator Environmental Systems, Inc., and an 88-acre land development project, The Kemptons, located in Berks County (PA).
  • Completed survey for U.S. Forest Service in central Oregon; project involved field survey of 28 square miles of mountainous forest land to monument and post boundary lines between Forest Service and private timber company lands. Performed construction stakeout of 140-unit apartment and townhouse complex in Portland (OR). Served as survey crew chief for layout of two 400-meter tracks and football fields, tennis courts, and school facilities for Bend (OR) School District.
