Project Engineer

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Practiced a variety of civil engineering since 2001 and specializing in traffic engineering, but also with land development and stormwater hydrology analysis experience.
Designed plans and obtained PennDOT highway occupancy permits for numerous developments within Eastern Pennsylvania to provide for driveways, intersection improvements, and the location of utilities within state right-of-way. Each plan set considered site access, horizontal and vertical geometry, utility location, stormwater conveyance, and maintenance and protection of traffic during construction.
Prepared traffic impact studies for commercial and residential developers as well as public sector clients in Northampton, Lehigh, Monroe, and Berks Counties, PA.
Prepared traffic signal permits for the installation of new traffic signals and the updating of existing traffic signals. These projects include the collection of existing traffic data, the preparation of plans indicating the physical elements of the proposed traffic signals, the design of the signal timing and phasing, and the documentation of the design and the final permit drawings to be executed by the local municipality.
Prepared erosion and sediment control plans for residential and commercial developments in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
Prepared stormwater management studies for residential and commercial developments. These projects include meeting municipal, Act 167, and NPDES criteria for detention basins, infiltration systems, conveyance systems, and post-construction water quality practices.
Prepared parking studies including data collection, analysis of parking demand, and analysis of available parking.
Assisted in boundary and topographical surveys, and providing construction stakeout for projects within the Lehigh Valley as a rodman.
Performed a sign inventory for East Allen Township including data collection, determination of required improvements, database creation, and report writing.
